Sounds like a great excuse to use Tags — at least you can define a Tag to not have hierarchy. Also, in the latest WordPress version, they’re *much* easier to work with (although you still need to do a bit of coding — or leverage a Plugin, like I have).

Nice blog setup. The problem I have is that categories are nested in Wordpress. If you use nested subcategories just for visual display, Wordpress will deface your URLs, making them far too long to be useful and no control over just using the primary category in the URL structure. If this weren’t true, category/postname would be ideal.

This post makes me want to take it up. My daughter says its a time when she feels free. Despite your trials, your triumph was so very sweet. Congratulations! Thanks! Next race may be Austin but is more likely the Dallas Rock ‘n’ Roll Half. Then it’s back to coaching in the summer.

Great Job! This race was well worth the 30 dollar entry fee. The after party was great and all the volunteers were extremely nice. It was awesome to see you again. I love the opportunities to meet the twitter rockstars like yourself.
